EUREKA LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT SUPPORTING ATTAINMENT
Engagement with Eureka Learning and Development can provide schools with the opportunity to develop a range of partnerships and interventions for equity that would support attainment. This would be done specifically through tackling particular issues related to school education, such as teaching standards, entrepreneurship, citizenship, basic skills or linguistic skills, through collaboration. Erasmus+ funding can also support this type of activity.

Strategic Schools Partnership activity with Erasmus+ could include:

  • developing, testing and implementing innovative approaches and practices for pupils, staff and organisations;
  • cross-sectoral co-operation between schools and other organisations leading to curriculum development, reinforcing basic skills or the development of employability skills
  • short-term exchanges of groups of staff and/or pupils on study/training periods within a project aiming to promote e.g. linguistic skills or intercultural awareness
  • the encouragement of active citizenship and entrepreneurship
